ASC Restoration

Saving the Past

This is the Amherst Survival Center as it looked 125 years ago in 1884. It was the North Amherst Elementary School in those days.

Here is a postcard showing how it looked in 1910.

The years have taken their toll, but fortunately work is now underway to restore and preserve the building.

Some work is being done to reinforce the foundation, the stones at the base of which haven't seen the light of day since the 1800's.

Here in Arizona we are treated like Free Americans. You know, the way it used to be 40 years ago back East. The less the Government interferes with our daily lives the better we like it.

I think we need a Law everywhere keeping a record of booze. There is such a slaughter of innocent victims every year, (17,000) for the last of each 2 years. But as long as Ted Kennedy is alive this won't happen.

Funny how you can buy as much Alcohol as you want and no one cares. It affects childhoods and marriages and job performance, and lives of innocent victims, but no one does anything about it! Why?

Much easier to pick on a Constituional Right than a national problem with Death and destruction from Alcohol? We have chapters of A.A. Nationwide. Do we have any group for Gun Owners? I guess it's not really a problem then is it?

Guns Bad. Booze Okay?
