You might not consider blogging a job, but this gig pays all my bills except groceries.

In any case the current lack of affordable health insurance for about 15 percent of the population is caused completely by government policies. A totally free market health system is the only real way to achieve universal coverage.

Those who lack health care are victims of the government's policies that artificially inflate costs and limit access through crippling regulations. The best way to help those in need is to oppose the system that created the problem in the first place, not give that system even more money and power, as Obamacare would do.

The only rational position for those who wish to improve healthcare in America is to advocate on behalf of a free market system in which the government plays no role. In the meantime, there is nothing wrong with the victims of the system, which might be me, you or anyone else, to take full advantage of the inadequate current programs until a better free market system can be devised.

Apparently you would prefer that the poor be victimized twice - first when the government implements policies that makes healthcare unaffordable and then again when snobs like you look down on them when they are forced to take the only care made available.Tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10900475514170268904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2023556716422736970.post-36107701655388557652009-08-29T17:08:48.494-04:002009-08-29T17:08:48.494-04:00Just curious - do you have private health insuranc...Just curious - do you have private health insurance, or is it paid for by the state? Or do you have any insurance? I just find it interesting how much you hate the public health care plan so much yet aren't currently working. And, yes, it is a fair question - you espouse opinions on this matter, it's fair to inform people of this.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
