I'm gonna be all over doing everything today, so I'm posting early with just a few quick photos and a vid. Today is dear old Dad's birthday, so last night we took him out to the historic Fort Restaurant in downtown Springfield. Here's a picture of me and the birthday boy.

The area around the famous Minuteman statue at UMass is undergoing some kind of landscaping. It's not clear yet exactly what they're up to, but it looks interesting.
Early this morning at UMass the statue of the local Indian Metawampe exercises his Second Amendment right to bear arms as he stands guard over the students awaiting the start of summer school.
