Today

I was down by the Connecticut River in Hadley walking and strumming on a guitar.

The Hadley farm fields are plowed and ready to burst forth their bounty.

Later we stopped in downtown Northampton for lunch. The media was all around the courthouse for the arraignment of "the bullies."

Nearby life juggled on.

I also ran into my old roommate Shane walking his dog Zeeper.

It was too late to have lunch at my friend Zak's new restaurant Eclipse but we stopped in anyway to see the beautiful new mural he put up.

This is the view of Main Street from Zak's restaurant.

We crossed the street to Sam's and had delicious broccoli and cheese pizza.

Then Damon sat on the steps and sang songs as I watched the world pass by.

I rang a silent bell
beneath a shower of pearls
in the eagle wing palace
of the Queen Chinee

I am jealous. Is there a job you need to show up at at any time? How do you survive?

A "Devine Trucking Truck" passed me a couple of days ago. Of course I thought of you. Read where they merged with Peters Trucking. Glad they didn't call the merged company "Devine Peters"!

Lots of jokes about getting old. Like, I always respect my elders, but as of late it's getting harder to find any. My advice is, enjoy every day, Awake & Sober. This is not a dress rehearsal. It's the real deal. I have no idea how time has gone by so dam fast or how I got this old. Someday you will say the same thing.

Do good things. Make a positive influence on someones life. Have as few regrets as possible. At least try really hard so you don't make anymore. I try hard. It's not always possible, but if you try, God will understand.

So far we're still basically healthy. At least I wake up every day & that's a good thing. So you're not the only one that has made mistakes. I said I've had so many women I had to buy a sleep by number bed just to keep count. Now the Bed is really firm, but I'm not.

Whatever happens, happens. Life is pretty good now. Hope it stays that way until the end. Take care, Larry
