I don't really make them anymore. I figure I'm supposed to be dead anyway, or at least I have friends who didn't go as far out as me who are dead, so I figure everything that has happened to me since I got out of rehab is all just a bonus round. I'm just glad to be here on any terms, which is an attitude conducive to peace of mind but not necessarily self-improvement.
Oh well, I was never very good at it anyway.
However, if you are looking for resolutions it isn't too late, this Hamp dress shop Ode has some suggestions on their window. Wear more color? Give yourself permission? Even I can handle those.
I think a lot of people's resolutions have to do with losing weight. At least that's what the window of Broadside Books suggests.

New Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren has apparently decided to quietly retreat from her controversial claims to be part Native American:
Despite repeated claims she is “proud” of her Cherokee heritage, newly minted U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren is keeping that pride under wraps and won’t be taking advantage of a chance to officially list herself as the Bay State’s first Native American U.S. senator.
Aides said Warren, who describes herself as part Cherokee and part Delaware Indian, won’t contact historians at the Senate Historical Office to tell them she’s Native American. The office lists minority senators in its official directory....
Although Warren won’t be listing herself as the state’s first Native American U.S. senator, she told Fox 25 News during the campaign that, “I would be the first senator that I know who has Native American heritage.”
The issue plagued Warren throughout her campaign after the Herald broke the story that Harvard University had listed the Cambridge Democrat as a minority in the early 1990s. Warren also claimed minority status in law directories from 1986 to 1995, stopping shortly after she got her job as a Harvard Law professor.

Apparently, Ms. Warren's native American ancestry claims have been removed from Wikipedia as well. Are you aware, without having served ONE DAY, that Warren is now the senior senator from Massachusetts? She's still having problems answered questions when confronted by reporters. I'm interested to learn when she's going to tackle the issue of the middle class getting "hammered." She only mentioned this point 600 times or so during her memorable campaign. I think with her and Deval working for us, the only way the middle class is gonna stop getting hammered would be to cut down on our drinking.
