Farming

Ruthy is ready to ride off from the Dr. Seuss chair across from my house.

At UMass I saw this line snaking out the door of the Blue Wall

I discovered the line led to this place called Green Fields. Believe it or not, they serve nothing but salads. Back in my day the three major food groups for students were pizza, hot dogs and hamburgers.

Healthy eating seems to be a new trend, as evidenced by the student farmer's market held every Friday afternoon. Most of the food is grown right on campus, as UMass was originally an agricultural school once commonly called Mass Aggie. UMass has evolved a lot since those days, but the agricultural part of the school is still very much alive.

This is the most recent anti-Jim McGovern ad.

While the police budget was cut, I don't think it was by 50%. Although crime may be up in Hamp, I have not seen that specific stat of 44.98% before. McGovern is an irresponsible leftist who definitely deserves to be removed from office, but this would be a better ad if it gave sources.

A political statement waving from a boat in Massachusetts' Rockport Harbor.

Murder probably adds more weight to the crime numbers when comparing different towns. Hamp has had a few murders lately if I do recall, which I believe was otherwise unheard of. There's probably a reason too that no one hangs out at Pulaski Park anymore except characters reminiscent of Breaking Bad.
