Post Fourth

This was the biggest flag on display on the Fourth of July in downtown Northampton.

My neighbor's porch.

Patriotic dog outside the vets.

It couldn't be the Fourth without some kind of demonstration.

The most colorful shop to open on Main Street in years.

For Lease - the property, not the art.

Cutting carrots at the Haymarket.

Haymarket blueberry tarts.

Connecticut River treejumpers beneath the Norwottock trestle.

Mary Carey captured this image of reporter Nick Grabbe and blogger Larry Kelley at the Amherst parade.

Out the window of the Amherst Starbucks.

Media personality Sy Becker with Jordan Williams in East Longmeadow.

Sheila Pecor photo of John O'Brien of WAQY and congressional candidate Tom Wesley in Springfield.

Jeff Ziff took this photo of fireworks being launched from the Memorial Bridge.

The Springfield fireworks.

Paolo filmed this at a party in Northampton on State Street years ago.

Hey Tom: Are the folks that own Shop Therapy in Noho also own the same-named store in P-Town? (Or at least it used to be in P-Town; haven't visited for a few years ...)

I'm not surprised the Paradise had the biggest flag. I was there with my wife and two sons for the Ghana/U.S. World Cup soccer match. The owner had flags for everyone and the food was half price on that saturday. Burgers there are excellent as well.
