The wet, heavy snow that fell last night caused a branch to come crashing down, almost landing on the Dr. Seuss chair across from my house.
Happily, a nearby snowman, I mean snowperson, I mean snowbeing (this is, after all, Northampton) was not injured.
The print version of the Valley Advocate, like its parent paper The Daily Hampshire Gazette, appears to be struggling. However, on the cultural front they are still doing a great service, both musically and historically, with their Sessions series featuring Valley musicians.
