The other day I ran into Northampton City Councilor Bill Dwight at the Cooper's Corner Market in the Florence section of Northampton. In that black mask and dark clothes he looks more like a criminal than a public official.
Is there a difference? Just joking, actually Bill has been one of the few members of the Hamp council to show a little commonsense now and then. Unfortunately, he is not running for re-election next month. Oh well, nothing lasts.
Speaking of Cooper's Corner, they have a nice mural in front these days showing various painted scenes of Florence, past and present.
Turning to another local market, here is the bus stop at the Northampton Big Y.

Meanwhile, down in Springfield, Mayor Dominic Sarno joined recently with former Mayor Charlie Ryan to recognize a generous gift to the East Forest Park Library Branch Promise Realize Campaign.
My neighbor has a staircase of pumpkins.

Masks don’t work. Can’t stand anyone wearing one unless there is no choice. Dom Sarno. What a huge disappointment.
