My sunflowers are coming up.
Junkie blood on a downtown Hamp sink.
Someone put an I VOTED TODAY sticker above the opening to the trashcan.
Eeek! Somebody sent me this photo revealing what brand voting machines they used in Amherst this week for their school construction referendum.
Hey you crazies! This Saturday is your parade!
After the parade, go have fun with the Owls.
Did you get a haircut on Star Wars Day?
I ran into prominent Springfield Attorney Joe Bernard in the Haymarket the other day. Joe was very active in Springfield politics back in the 90's, and I interviewed him on WNNZ radio once when he ran unsuccessfully for school committee. Now Bernard tells me he has no desire to participate in what he called "the snake-pit" of Springfield politics. That's a recurring problem in Valley politics, the best people won't run because they don't want to put up with all the negative bullshit from the local Democrat machines.
I can't believe that the entire Hampshire Gazette building has been torn down.

The paper still exists, but works out of rented offices nearby. Some days the paper is so thin it is practically a pamphlet, and it's always wearily woke.
Most of the student art you see at UMass has wackily woke themes, but a refreshing exception was on display this week as campus artists commemorated the fall of the Berlin Wall and the end of socialist oppression in Germany.
