I always thought that the former Mama Iguana restaurant in downtown Northampton was overrated.
Recently I tried their replacement, the Mexcalito Taco Bar.
Inside it looks pretty much the same.
The tacos however, are absolutely great, like this delicious breaded fish taco.
I will definitely be going back!
Meanwhile, last week there was quite a crowd at the Hamp farmer's market.
The TV news was there telling everybody all about it. The late great Pine Pointer Karl Mayfield once lived in the building in the background on the third floor, where I often visited back in the long ago day. Good God, if those walls could talk.
