One way to beautify the dwelling place of chickens and ducks is to plant flowers.
However, the residents don't appear to acknowledge them.
A giant bean pole awaits the creeping crawl of some bean plants.

Only Mother Nature knows for sure. Hopefully it will turn out better than last year's failed wall of sunflowers attempt.

Two sad closings in Thornes. I can't believe that ACME, one of the best bargain joints in the north Valley, has gone out of business!
They had the cheapest batteries around.
